A slice through the World: Contemporary Artists' Drawings

Wura-Natasha Ogunji, 2017.
A Slice through the World: Contemporary Artists’ Drawings is being held across two venues: Modern Art Oxford (16 June – 9 September) and Drawing Room, London (13 June – 5 August).
David Haines
For those of you wanting to explore what is going on in the contemporary world of drawing these two exhibitions are a must see.
The exhibition explores the ancient technology of drawing as it meets the newest form of digitised image culture. The artworks under consideration signal the resilience of drawing as a means of exploring and responding to contemporary questions of dialogue and representation, reinforcing its status as an inherently interdisciplinary medium that remains central to artistic practice across the world.
