One artist that is of particular interest to those of you interested in drawing is Andy Black. This is not just because he works at the same place as I do, but because he has a practice that is focused on ideal form. He takes a variety of objects and reduces them down to essentials, then by just using black and white he renders them as a set of elements that become part of an ever growing language of 'things'.
