A painter friend has just told me
about a really useful set of carrying bags that he has found which are perfect
for carrying up to A1 sized images and keeping them safe. Transport of pictures
is always a pain, so anyone who has found a reasonably cheap solution has my
heartfelt thanks.

They are 39 x 35 x 9.5inches in size
and A1 size is 23.5 x 33inches, so there ought
to be room to fit one or two framed A1 drawings in one bag as they are 9.5
inches wide.
I don't normally endorse any commercial products but specialist art suppliers tend to be very expensive, and this would appear to be a reasonably cheap solution to a reoccurring problem.
